My initial involvement with the legal system started years ago when I was employed as a police officer with a local agency. Contemporaneously, I was pursuing an A.A. Degree with a local community college. I was employed as a police officer for approximately seven years. During this time I attended college and worked full time. During my tenure with the police department I completed my A.A., B.S. and M.S. Degrees in police science and criminal justice while working full time and attending college full time. It took dedication to complete college on a full time basis while working full time. While in law enforcement I developed an interest in attending law school. I attended law school in Ohio graduating with my J.D. in two years and three months (instead of the normal three years) by attending all year round without any summer breaks. My first job out of law school was with a law firm in New Mexico. My second job was working as a claims adjuster with a national insurance company. I left the insurance company and started practicing law full time in Florida in 1989. I have been a practicing attorney for over 24 years. Among other achievements, I am AV® rated by Martindale-Hubbell (the highest rating attainable by an attorney for competence and ethics). In 2003 I decided to pursue an advanced law degree in taxation. I completed this degree in 2006 receiving my LL.M. in International Taxation with a concentration in US tax law. In 2008 I started working toward another advanced taxation degree and completed it in 2013. Not only am I interested in law but also have a keen interest in politics, world events, the Middle East events, Bible prophecy, the current world catastrophic events currently taking place and the general downward spiral of the ethics and morals of the world.
